New to Everything's Corner!
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is a productivity suite of applications and cloud services that enables you to view, create, manipulate, print, and manage PDF files. Developed by Adobe, this package comprises mainly of Acrobat Reader, Acrobat, and Document Cloud. The basic Acrobat Reader is available for free on PC and mobile platforms but the full suite is only for desktop OS, with additional features to complete your professional tools for PDFs.
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC’s editor tools are the usual features. You can add text and images, insert links and annotations, and adjusting formatting options like the font and size of pictures. It also has an OCR scanning function, allowing you to insert other documents, images, and even cropped data like tables into your PDF. This function lets the scanned information be edited, too, as Acrobat converts it into text. It will automatically match your file’s font formatting for a uniform look.
This program has a built-in converter, enabling you to turn various file formats into high-quality PDFs. These include Microsoft Office formats, images, and web pages. While you’re at it, you can further manipulate your document’s settings, such as compressing its file size, splitting and merging pages, and direct printing. For page-specific functions, you can rearrange, delete, and rotate them. Two PDFs can also be compared side by side. Additionally, PDF forms can be edited and filled.
Adobe Acrobat started out with only a family of the primary editing tools and a connection to Acrobat.com. Its main function is to create and view PDF documents. It can also import other document and image formats and save them as PDFs. The software can modify the documents, like cropping PDF pages, changing their order, manipulating hyperlinks, digitally signing on them, adding comments, and even removing certain parts of the file. As such, you get a full selection of tools.
Despite the numerous features available, this software won’t feel too complicated to handle. It has an easy-to-use interface and allows you to customize your ribbons with whatever tools you frequently use or will need in a pinch. This makes it faster to work on your PDFs, regardless of what platform you’re on. However, it can be difficult to navigate the program if you don’t set up your preferences. Another drawback is the program’s heavy load on resources. Its installation can take a while and crashes often happen.
There’s a good reason why Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is one of the best PDF editing software available. It has a wide range of functionalities you can use—some available for different platforms—and it allows easy collaboration with its dedicated cloud service. It can be heavy on computer resources, however, so you should save often in case of crashes.
