Is based on the Hànyǔ Pīnyīn romanization. Hanyu Pinyin which is called Pinyin in short is based on the pronunciation of Putonghua or Mandarin and is the standard romanization system for Chinese. The system uses Latin alphabets to denote the initial and final of the character. For example, the initial of the character "酒" is j, and the final is iu, therefore the Mandarin syllable of the character is spelled as jiu. For the sake of convenience, the pinyin input method does not use tone marks.

This tool can intelligently detect the words in the sentences and generate the scrambles without breaking the words. If you want to generate the scrambles by shuffling the individual characters, you can do that by changing the default settings.
