We welcome submissions related to medieval studies (all disciplines).
Please meet the criteria listed below:
we accept works of any format: these include, but are not limited to, shorter academic works such as essays; reviews and commentaries of films, books, and TV shows; opinion pieces; picture essays, vlogs, etc.
the upper word limit is 5000 words per submission, or a video of max. 15 minutes; there is no minimum
please use MHRA (or similar) citation system, but include all footnotes as endnotes instead in your submission
the work you plan to submit cannot have been previously published in academic journals
submissions do not have to be in English, if we do not have an editor or reviewer that reads your language your work will be posted as is
submitter must be one of the following: final year undergraduate, postgraduate of any kind (MA, MRes, PhD), or a non-affiliated researchers, recent postgraduates, or early career researchers
An editor will review the work before submission to the blog and can ask to make minor alterations if felt necessary.
