If you are on this page, likely, you found it through YouTube and already know a lot about Connectid. But just in case...
The founder and CEO of Connectid Incorporated is Lincoln. Lincoln, a 13 year old boy at the time, was frustrated that he had such a burning passion for technology, that no one he knew shared. In an attempt to share his love of technology with the many people of the internet, Lincoln started a YouTube channel known as SoulTaker Tech Talks. The name had two parts, "SoulTaker" and "Tech Talks". Tech Talks, of course, described the topics discussed on the channel. "SoulTaker" though, was more complicated. Lincoln wanted an original name that had nothing to do with tech for the first part of the name. However, original was hard to come by. So he used the username he had been using for games since 3rd grade. Lincoln made more than 50 videos under this title (46 are still view-able today, 12 of which are live streams). As you may of guessed, this name didn't stick. So, on October 28th Lincoln's YouTube channel was renamed to Connectid Tech Talks. The name Connectid was born from the same ideas as Soultaker was, but it's much more inviting and subtle. It also describes the company much better than "SoulTaker."
Think of Connectid as the company, and Tech Talks as the brand, because Lincoln has also recently created 3 more channels that have joined the Connectid network.
