Please find the tournament bracket below.
In case you win your match, it should be clear at what time you are expected back on the lawn.
Teams are named using the captain's name entered in the sign-up sheet.
The bracket was generated using this website, with randomised seeds.
A few last comments regarding rules and organisation:
- Please aim to arrive at least 5 minutes early to ensure a timely start.
- Each match should take exactly 55 minutes, so please arrange for someone to time this.
- The croquet tournament set will be checked out to be available at 11:00. Please handle the equipment with care.
- The team that completes a half circuit and posts out both of their balls or scores the most hoops wins.
- The simplified rules of the game can be found HERE.
- In the interest of time, we will usually have two matches taking place at the same time, each starting at an opposite corner of the lawn. In the well-mannered and courteous spirit of Cherwell Day, please discuss with players from the other match if situations arise in which balls obstruct each other. In previous years, it has been common to temporarily remove a ball and to place a coin on the lawn as a marker.
- All participants must comply with the Cherwell Day dress code.
