Statistics from a survey taken in 2012 show that adults were notified only 40% of the time there were bullying incidents. The reasons that kids don't report bullying all go around being scared of the bully, they may fear being harmed by the bully, they may also feel that no one cares about them because they were bullied. Another reason is that they fear being rejected by their peers if they talk to an adult.
49% of kids in grades 4-12 reported being bullied at their schools in just a month.
