The Institute of Transportation Engineers - Alaska Section's (ITE) Committee on Autonomous Vehicles was honored to host the Forum on Autonomous Vehicle Technology. The Forum was an all-day event that was held at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage, AK on Friday, June 8th, 2018.

The committee’s vision for the forum was to provide education on the latest advancements in autonomous vehicle technology and public policy, so that our public agencies and policy makers can make informed decisions regarding autonomous vehicles on Alaska roads. The forum was the first of its kind in Alaska, giving policy makers and transportation industry and public agency leaders a chance to learn from and interact with experts in this rapidly advancing field.
