The muzzleloader discipline consists of black powder rifles that are loaded from the barrel and discharged by means of a percussion cap or other primitive ignition system such as flint. Youth may begin participation in this discipline at the 4-H age of 10.
2 types of Muzzleloading Rifles are allowed:
Replica - Rimitive replicas (percussion cap or flintlock), any caliber
Inline - Modern muzzleloading rifles with in-line ignition, any caliber
