Meet Jefferson!

Jefferson is a male, Abyssinian guinea pig! Abyssinians are known for their crazy hair, and Jefferson definitely has that. He looks like he has cowlicks all over him!

Mrs. Fleenor adopted him in March 2018, and he's been spending most of his time in her classroom ever since! He got the name Jefferson because he has a lot red hair and so did Thomas Jefferson, Mrs. Fleenor's favorite president!

Jefferson is super sweet. He loves his "hidey" place, snuggling in Mrs. Fleenor's scarf, and eating carrots! He just recently started eating oranges, green peppers, and any type of herb he can get someone to pass through his cage. He acts like he's scared of banana slices, so he probably won't eat any of those! He raises up on the side of his cage every morning waiting for his vegetables and squeaks really loud until he gets them!
