Ceremony Details

Tickets are not required for admission to the Commencement ceremony, and there is no limit on the number of guests that may attend per graduate.
Graduates will be transported by bus to and from 3M Arena at Mariucci; families will take their own transportation to the venue. Graduates should meet at Osseo Senior High by 1:15pm to board buses wearing their caps and gowns. Please note: Graduates may wear only approved commencement regalia (see 2025 Graduation Guide link above).
Graduation Requirements
Seniors who successfully complete the following diploma requirements will be eligible to participate in the 2025 Osseo Senior High commencement ceremony:
All Required and Elective Credits completed
All Advisory units completed
Chromebook returned
All Fees paid including Commencement Fee of $20
CRC Forms submitted
These requirements will be tracked on a personalized Senior Clearance Form handed out at the mandatory Graduation Assembly during Advisory on Thursday, May 29. When students have completed this form, they will exchange it for their cap and gown packet on their last day of school on Thursday, June 5.
Senior All Night Party
Celebrate graduation with your fellow Osseo Senior High classmates after Commencement. This long-standing tradition is planned, sponsored and supervised by parents of OSH seniors. Seniors must be pre-registered. Walk-ins will not be allowed.
When: Sunday, June 8 from 10pm-5am
Where: Bowlero in Brooklyn Park
Cost: $95 in March-April, $110 in May through June 1
Yard Signs
A limited number of Yard Signs to show support and pride for our Seniors will be available for advance purchase for $25 on SANP webpage. Proceeds from this sale will be used to raise funds for the Senior All-Night Party.
Volunteers
Many volunteers are needed to make the night a fun and safe event for our seniors. Please consider volunteering and sign up to help HERE.

Cap & Gown Orders
Every senior ordered their cap and gown during Advisory in January. They will receive them on their last day of school after their graduation requirements have been completed and verified.
Mailing Address
Diplomas will be mailed to graduates after Commencement. To ensure a student’s diploma is mailed to the correct address, please verify your mailing address in ParentVue. If a correction needs to be made, please make corrections via ParentVue or by contacting the District 279 Enrollment Center at 763-585-7350.
Graduating with Honors
Seniors graduating with honors do not need to pre-order honor accessories; however, unlike cap and gown packets, honor accessories are not provided free of charge. A list of seniors eligible to graduate with honors is posted on the link above.
Personalized Vinyl Banners
Osseo graduates have the opportunity to order personalized vinyl banners through our cap & gown vendor. These 3' x 4' banners are weather resistant and have grommets in each corner for hanging. Banners cost $44.99 and may be ordered HERE.
Elementary School Senior Walks
Many Osseo Area Elementary Schools host walks for graduating seniors to visit their former school. As we are notified of these events, they will be added to the list found HERE.
