Flipping learning means providing learning content to students outside the scheduled classroom time instead of using classroom time for lecturing or direct instruction. The classroom time is then dedicated to activities that promote active learning, targeted support and time to interact with peers to engage in learning activities. Students are responsible for consuming the content on their own, and then the teacher uses classroom time to guide students through activities, help them get back on track and answer questions.
Student centered learning, while making students active participants in their learning.
Teachers gain time back in the classroom to meet the needs of all students.
Provide students with immediate, timely feedback.
Makes learning intentional and purposeful by engaging in real world activities.
