Through the creation and implementation of a new TV production career pathway program called RAILSTV, the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals recognized me and our school for this innovative program. We were one of only three schools across the state to receive a gold award and are very proud of this recognition.
In 2019, I was recognized by the NE Division of High School Principals as the Principal of the year. As a result, I received a great name plate and am eligible to be named the MN High School Principal of the year. It is a huge honor to be recognized by your colleagues across northern Minnesota to be nominated and selected for this honor. This is validation that what we are doing at Proctor is great for kids and is noticed by others.
From NLSEC Website: "Tim was nominated by a colleague because he goes above and beyond his job duties as the High School Principal in Proctor. He goes out of his way to make sure that all students are engaged, treated with respect, and offered opportunities. He has been instrumental with the new Proctor Pathways program that helps students explore future career possibilities. He also takes time to listen to teachers, parents, and students and is a strong advocate for all students and staff. It is apparent that he truly cares about students and staff! He also has a way of settling conflicts in a way where everyone feels heard and respected. Finally, he knows how to lighten a mood when it needs to happen.
Congratulations Tim and thank you for your hard work at Proctor High School! "
