Gaining Experience

Gaining experience does not necessarily mean finding a job or engaging in work experience. It could involve volunteering, taking part in Duke of Edinburgh or asking questions and being curious about the many opions available. It also involves exploring the paths available after your GCSEs actively to find out which one is best for you.

Local Schools (Sixth Forms and Schools)

The school is linked to both Reigate College and East Surrey College. In Year 10 you will be able to visit both of these, but there are many options in the local area and some of these are listed below for you to research.

Gaining some experience of the working world can help you understand more about your options and if you think a job will be a good fit for you. You can do this through speaking to people, watching videos about people doing jobs that might interest you and also through volunteering.
