HMH provides multiple opportunities to track student progress.
Kinder & First Grade
Phonemic awareness is one of the best predictors of a student’s ability to read fluently. This ability to hear speech sounds clearly, and to differentiate them, is what allows us to acquire language easily, and this knowledge of language is key to our understanding of what we read.
HMH provides teachers in K-1 to track student progress in these skills using Module Inventories at the end of each Module.
All Assessments (both interactive and printable)
Open "All Resources" on the left sidebar and click on the "Assessment" tab.
You can then use the filters at the top of the page. Click on the Component dropdown and then click on the assessment you are looking for. (some are grade band specific)
