Epson Connect printer utility is a specialized software for cloud-based printing and scanning. This software allows you to print or scan from anywhere using your computer. There are a few services available in this utility, including Email Print, which allows you to print by sending an email to the printer’s address. It further allows you to scan your important documents to cloud storage. However, you need to download and install this software through the Epson Support page.

Epson Connect Printer Utility Download for Windows

To download the Epson Connect utility, ensure that your computer is connected to a stable network, whether wireless or Ethernet. Check out the steps below for a Windows computer.

• Navigate to the Epson website at epson.com/support and search for your Epson printer’s name in the search field.

• Expand the drop-down menu to select your operating system.

• Click the Utilities option, and click the Download button next to the Epson Connect Printer Setup Utility.

• Go to your Downloads folder on the computer, double-click the file, and click Yes to allow this app to make changes.

• Open the app, check the box to agree to the End-User License Agreement, and hit Next.

• Now, click Install, and after that, click Finish.

• In this step, select your Epson printer and click Next.

• Continue by selecting Printer Registration and clicking Next.

• Choose Agree and then click the Next button to continue.

That’s how to download and set up the Epson Connect Printer utility. After that, you’ll be required to register your Epson printer and finish the process. 

Epson Connect Printer Utility Download Mac

First, ensure that the Mac is connected to a stable internet connection before downloading this utility. Use the steps given below to download it.

• Go to epson.com/Support and search for your Epson printer in the search field.

• Select the operating system, select the Epson Connect Printer Setup Utility option under the Utilities menu, and click the Download button.

• Go to your Downloads location on the Mac computer and double-click on the file.

• Allow the application to run on your Mac, and open it.

• Click the Continue button to accept the software License Agreement, and then click Agree 

• Click the Install button, and then click Close.

• Select your Epson printer and click Next. However, if you experience a problem while opening software, go to the Finder window and select Applications. Select Epson Software under Application and double-click on Epson Connect Printer Setup Utility.

• Click the Printer Registration option and then click Next.

• Click Ok when the “Register a printer to Epson Connect” message appears on the screen.

• Accept the terms and conditions, and continue.

Similar to a Windows computer, you’ll need to register your Epson printer to move forward.

Register Your Epson Printer on Epson Connect Utility

After completing the Epson Connect Utility download, it will ask you to register your Epson printer. You’ll be given two options: Register a new Epson Global ID or use the Epson Global ID already registered. Let’s check the method for each one individually

Option 1: Register New Epson Global ID

If you’re registering the Epson printer for the first time, use the steps given below:

• When the screen asks, click Register New Epson Global ID.

• Provide your email address and create a password in the given field.

• Then, select your country or region, and click the Send Verification Email button in blue.

• Check the code sent to your registered email address.

• Enter that code on the verification page and click the Verify button.

Now, you’re free to use the "Epson Connect Utility" to print your documents and photos.

Option 2: Epson Global ID Already Registered

If your Epson printer is already registered in Epson Connect, use the following steps to get started with Epson Connect Utility.

1. Select the “Add device to existing account” option.

2. Enter your registered email address and password, and click Login.

3. Check the verification code in your email and in the two-step verification window.

Finally, the Epson Connect is ready to use for printing and scanning.
