Princes Cross Country is Running Hard

The Princes Cross Country team has been running hard all season, competing in numerous meets and consistently finishing near the top. Their hard work paid off at the IHSA Regional meet, held at Farmington High School.
This year, the girls’ team is small but mighty, with Junior Bethany Sennett, Freshman Ella Buckley, Emma Davis, and Aubrey Mareachen representing Princeville. At Regionals, Bethany had an impressive time of 17:58, placing 4th overall and qualifying her for the IHSA Sectional on Saturday, November 1st. Emma, Ella, and Aubrey also turned in strong performances, finishing 33rd, 43rd, and 46th, respectively. Great job to all the girls, and best of luck to Bethany as she continues on to Sectionals!
The boys’ team also had a standout performance at Regionals. Senior Taylor Hess and Hunter Keyster both finished in the top 20, placing 11th and 18th. They were joined by teammates Jacob Bosch, Collin Bowers, Michael Winters, Elliot Walles, and Ezra Blair, who all ran well enough to help the team qualify for the Sectional meet at Maple Lane Country Club in Elmwood.
