The month of May was bustling with activity for our grade school, marked by a series of exciting field trips that engaged students and enriched their learning experiences.
On Friday, May 2nd, the Kindergarten classes embarked on a delightful excursion to the Peoria PlayHouse. Students had the opportunity to explore interactive exhibits and engage in hands-on learning activities.
Mrs. Cox's 4th grade class also enjoyed a journey back in time as they visited a one-room schoolhouse last Friday. This unique experience allowed students to gain insight into historical educational practices and appreciate the evolution of learning environments.
Additionally, Mrs. Dickinson's Kindergarten class indulged in sweet treats at Stomping Ground and had a wonderful time alongside Mrs. Sutherland's class at the Peoria PlayHouse. These outings fostered camaraderie and provided enjoyable learning experiences.
Moreover, Mrs. Kahlia's class took a trip to Caterpillar, where they learned about the company's innovative technologies and operations, before their trip to the Peoria PlayHouse for more fun.
Overall, May was a month filled with exploration, discovery, and community spirit at our grade school, leaving students with cherished memories and valuable lessons.
