On March 4th, PHS music students performed at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble at Monmouth Roseville High School. PHS had seven students who competed. Included were sophomore, Tessa Berchtold; junior, Brinae Rice; freshman, Sophie Noonen; sophomore, Caleb Christianson; senior, Brayden Lehmann; and junior, Olivia Bird.
“Every student performed very well and made Princeville proud regardless of what score they received!” “PHS music students had a wonderful day at this year's Solo and Ensemble contest at Monmouth Roseville High School” said Mr. Delbridge. Princeville music students Tessa Berchtold and Brinae Rice received 1st place for their vocal duet with a perfect score. Also earning first place awards were Sophie Noonen for her vocal solo, Caleb Christianson for his piano solo and French horn solo, Brayden Lehmann for his vocal solo, Tessa Berchtold for her piano solo, and Olivia Bird for her vocal solo! Sophie Noonen received the "Best of Day Award" in the room that she sang her vocal solo in!!! Mr. Delbridge congratulates all of the students who performed March 4th for their hard work, and wonderful performances!
