Princeville FFA at the Illinois State Convention
On June 10–12, the Princeville FFA Chapter headed to Springfield for the 97th Annual Illinois Association FFA State Convention. While there, they listened to keynote speakers, watched the retiring address of the Illinois FFA Major State Officer Team, and witnessed numerous awards and scholarships presented to many of the approximately 7,000 FFA members in attendance.
This state convention was a significant one for the Princeville FFA Chapter, as several members were recognized for their achievements over the past year. Notably, Bradin Senn and Travis Heinz were awarded 1st place in their division in the Illinois FFA State Agriscience Fair. Ryan Butterfield was also recognized for being one of the five National FFA Reporters from Illinois. Caitlin Murphy was recognized for achieving the Illinois Association FFA State Degree—the highest degree an Illinois FFA member can earn while in high school.
Overall, the convention was a blast for both our chapter and the entire state.
