On February 8th, the Boys Varsity Basketball Team showcased their skills during an unforgettable Senior Night, facing off against the previously state-ranked Peoria Christian Chargers. The atmosphere in the gym was electrifying, propelling our boys as they put forth an impressive performance.

The game remained close throughout, with both teams exchanging leads. However, in a thrilling turn of events during the fourth quarter, the Princes took the lead. The fans went crazy when Senior Jake Williams made an amazing last second three point buzzer-beater, tying the game and sending it into overtime.

Overtime brought even more energy, as both teams fought hard for victory. As the clock wound down, a player from Peoria Christian sank another buzzer-beater, forcing a second overtime.

In this final stretch, our boys dug deep, pulling ahead and maintaining their lead. They won with a final score of 77-69, wrapping up Senior Night with a memorable victory.

Girls

On January 29th, the Girls Varsity Basketball team celebrated their Senior Night with an impressive victory against LTC rival, the Annawan Braves. The team has had a fun season, finishing with a strong overall record.

During the Senior Night game, the girls demonstrated their skill and teamwork, dominating the Braves from the start and never allowing them to gain momentum. The game came to an end with a final score of 55-41.

This victory was especially significant for the team's only senior, Paisley Schock, who capped off her home game experience with a successful performance making Senior Night a night to remember.
