The Princes football team closed out their summer with a busy and exciting camp held during the final week of July. The week began bright and early Monday with a 6:30 a.m. weight room session, followed by a full-team practice under the evening lights. On Tuesday, Canton and Farmington came to town for a joint practice that featured 7-on-7 action and scrimmage plays, giving the Princes a valuable chance to test themselves against outside competition.
Thursday took the team on the road to Galesburg, where they once again lined up against Canton, Farmington, and Galesburg in a joint practice setting. These live reps helped the players not only sharpen their individual skills but also come together as a team, building chemistry and trust that will carry into the season.
With camp behind them, the Princes are confident and eager to take the field. They’ll have the chance to show off their hard work and determination in Friday night’s season opener against Havana, as the community rallies behind them for what promises to be an exciting fall.
