On April 17th, the halls of PHS were filled with excitement (and the smell of warm pretzels) as students celebrated the annual Pretzel Day, a beloved tradition made possible by the PHS and PJHS Student Councils. Every year, the councils fundraise to put on this special event for students and staff — and this year was no exception.
Students had the delicious choice between two different kinds of pretzels: a classic regular pretzel served with cheese sauce or a sweet cinnamon pretzel paired with icing. Whether craving something savory or sweet, everyone had something to enjoy.
“This event is one of the highlights of our year,” said a PHS Student Council representative. “We love seeing everyone come together and enjoy something fun. It’s a great reminder of the community spirit we have here.”
Long lines formed during lunch periods as students eagerly chose their pretzel and shared the experience with friends. The student councils’ hard work in organizing and fundraising for Pretzel Day paid off, creating another memorable event for all.
Thanks to the dedication of the PHS and PJHS Student Councils, Pretzel Day continues to bring smiles, school spirit, and, of course, lots of pretzels to our school community.
