 About Mrs. Julie Bayless

Mrs. Julie Bayless  is in her 32nd year as an educator. She is a 1987 graduate of Woodruff High School. She attended Illinois State University, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Bayless obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Governors State University in 2008. She spent 20 years of her teaching career in 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade classrooms in Peoria Public Schools and in Washington District 52. The majority of her teaching experience was in 1st grade. Mrs. Bayless is married and has two children. She also has two grandchildren. She is starting her 12th year in Princeville, where she started as an assistant principal for three years before moving into the elementary principal position. Mrs. Bayless continues to be dedicated to serving the school community through collaborative efforts, to ensure that all students reach their full academic and social potential through innovative instructional practices.
