Magazine and newspaper collections come in many forms. Some are available as part of full-text searchable databases such as Papers of Princeton, and others may be available through the Princeton University and Princeton Theological Seminary websites, the Internet Archive, issuu.com, Hathi Trust, or Google Books. Entire runs might be found online, or only selected issues or years, or an index. Some titles may exist only in print or on microfilm in selected locations. WorldCat can assist in locating libraries that own individual titles. Many catalog records can also lead you to a digitized version.
Entries below include as much information as possible for locating digital issues and volumes. For titles that may be available in print at the Princeton Public Library, please search our online catalog.

For a list of digitized New Jersey newspapers, take a look at the The New Jersey Digital Newspaper Project, which includes a list of newspapers that have been digitized and how to locate them as well as a link to download the Directory of New Jersey Newspapers 1765-1970, edited by William Wright and Paul A. Stellhorn. Use a combination of the two to locate digitized newspapers in the area.
