Prom Rules and Guidelines
~Students cannot have excessive unexcused absences/tardies, cannot fail 2 or more classes at 3rd quarter grades, and cannot owe attendance hours.
~ Current Junior & Senior PHS Students are invited to attend prom. Freshmen & Sophomores may only come if they are a date to a Junior or Senior.
~ Dates from other Districts are permitted if they are in the 11th or 12th grade and the Principal of the school they are attending signs a permission form stating that they attend that school and are in good standing. All Princeton ISD code of conduct rules will apply to these students. (click on the 'out of district guest', tab for the form)
~Former high school students are permitted to attend prom if they are a date of an 11th or 12th grade student.
No one younger than the 9th grade will be allowed to attend.
~ No one will be permitted who is 21 years old or over.
~ The former high school student must provide a copy of their driver’s license to prove that they are under the age of 21 at prom.
~ When considering the purchase of a dress or gown, please keep in mind the following:
~ Gowns or dresses must be in good taste, and cannot be designed in such a way that exposes the midriff or the back is exposed below the waistline.
~ Students who leave the Prom or the After Prom Party are not allowed to return. If a student has to go to their vehicle, a school official or a police officer must accompany them.
~ Students must be in good standing in regards to discipline and attendance in order to attend prom.
~ All students will be given a breathalyzer test when they enter and leave prom and the after prom party. Failure to comply will result in not gaining entry into prom.
After-Prom Guidelines:
All students with prom ticket may attend, FREE. (this includes 9th & 10th grade)
PHS Jr or Sr without prom ticket may attend; $5 at door (this does NOT include 9th & 10th grade)
All students will be given a breathalyzer test when they enter and leave prom and the after prom party.
Failure to comply will result in not gaining entry into prom.
If capacity is reached for Arcade 92, guests will only be admitted when capacity lowers.
