Communication must be maintained both for safe operation, and to serve as a consistent subject of study. Antenna on the satellite transmit to and receive from a Princeton maintained ground station, and transmit to amateur radio operators all over the world. AMSAT has a vested interest in our satellite, and are in collaboration with the team to create the communications package.
