The workshop will feature two discussion sessions in small groups. To start you off, we will use the questions below
How can we ensure that our laboratory studies measure processes relevant to rumination/worry in daily life?
· How can we tie together the different levels of analysis (e.g., neuroscience, psychology, ethology) in worry and rumination?
· What new methods are most promising for gaining insight into the mechanisms of rumination and worry?
How can improving computational models of rumination/worry inform better psychotherapies and other interventions?
· How can modelers work with clinical treatment developers?
· Should computational and experimental work be aimed at understanding clinical principles to improve treatments, or individual differences to aid treatment prognosis and selection? Is this a helpful distinction, or does it create a false dichotomy?
