Who are we?

Arch & Arrow materialized from the need for more outlets on campus for creative writers to share work and be heard. For this reason, Arch & Arrow holds writing workshops during which anyone on campus can engage in fun writing exercises and overcome writer’s block.

Why should you join?

If you love writing, want a safe and open space to write, share with others, and hang out with wonderful people, help plan and execute our events including our open mics and workshops, or assist us in developing our publication, then Arch & Arrow is for you!

What do we do?

Along with the annual publication and regular workshops, Arch & Arrow also holds open mics for people to bring their writing, music, or other forms of creative expression. In the past, we have had students read poetry and short stories, perform standup comedy, sing and play guitar, play piano, beatbox, rap, rant, and even perform a dramatic reading of their common app essays (yes, really)… the list goes on and on.

About Us

Let’s face it – no matter how secluded we writers and artists might be when we’re sitting in some nook scribbling into a notebook, in the end, we’re all writing for someone.

Founded in 2016, Arch & Arrow is a creative outlet for student work – we’re the place for you to get your writing off the coffee-stained notebook page to be enjoyed by others.

We hold workshops and open mics, and we accept submissions for your work to be published on our website or in our online and print magazines.
