Seminar overview
We are a bunch of graduate students at Princeton University, with interests in (high dimensional) probability theory and its connections to various related fields including combinatorics, graph theory, theory of Markov chains, random matrices, free probability theory, information theory, statistical mechanics and so on. People in our reading group have their research interests in a related field, but we have people from ORFE, PACM, Mathematics, Physics, CS department. So, indeed a diverse set of people to discuss ideas and about research. We meet every alternate week and somebody presents an article or a topic that they found interesting in their research. We usually end with a brief question answer session and go to dinner together in Nassau Street! We hope to see you there.
During Fall 2022, we are meeting on every alternate Wednesdays 5:45 ~ 7:00 pm, in Sherrerd 001.
Resources
These are some helpful references to get started in this area of probability theory. This is definitely an incomplete list and limited by the understanding and knowledge of this field by us.
