Recently our Year 4 Sports Leaders led assembly, speaking clearly and confidently about their role and their vision for promoting fitness, activity and healthy lifestyles at Prince of Wales School. 

They shared how they recently attended a Sports Leaders event at St Mary’s Middle School, organised by Active Dorset and led by Joey Wormington. During the event, the children worked together to plan a range of exciting sporting activities, which will be introduced throughout the year.

Their first initiative is a weekly Park Run every Thursday before lunch. The Sports Leaders will be recording laps, adding fun obstacles and encouraging their peers as they run. This is a fantastic start to their sports leadership journey.
