COMPUTING IMPLEMENTATION -
To ensure high standards of teaching and learning in Computing, we implement a curriculum that is progressive throughout the whole school. Computing is taught in half-termly topics (see Computing: Whole-School Progression Document) focusing on knowledge and skills stated in the National Curriculum.
Teachers plan lessons for their class using the Purple Mash Scheme of Work and Computing: Whole-School Progression Document. This excellent scheme ensures the curriculum is covered and the skills/knowledge taught is progressive from year group to year group.
Children showing extensive aptitude in Computing will be placed on our schools Gifted and Talented register.
