Cards- their purpose.

The children have been finding out about why we give and receive cards for many celebrations across cultures and religions. Developing cutting skills by cutting out pictures on cards, making our own cards using printing as a technique to create a picture, using cards in play, and developing readiness for writing our names are just some of the learning themes in nursery. Children enjoy developing ideas their way; the printed cards reflect children's unique artistic flair and fascinations. We are proud of all children's expressions of creativity.

The story of biscuit bear prompted rich conversations about biscuits, visiting bakeries, friendships and pet dogs. The character of biscuit bear also inspired lots of creative work across provision.
