We kicked off our new academic year with a whole afternoon decided to an artist study all about the artist Jean Michel Basquiat! have a look at what our we created!
We had an amazing time on our school trip to Mission Out, despite the weather. Everyone showed fantastic resilience and a Sense of Adventure and went home tired and happy (although some a little soggy).
Y4R had an amazing time at Armley Mills last week learning about about our History topic: Roman Britain. we got to experience of what it was like to be part of the Roman Army and the Iceni Tribe! Afterwards, we voted which we preferred. In the afternoon, we looked around the museum at lots of cool and interesting artefacts. What a great day!
What an amazing time Y4R have had with Mambo Jambo during out Focus Week! We learned how to use our bodies as percussion and play a style of Samba music.
Year 4s skipping festival kicked off this week and the children already showcased some amazing skipping skills! We practised the double bounce, single bounce, side straddle and many more and everyone gave 100% effort!
