Geography 9/1/25 - Flight to Catalonia!
Today, year 3 experienced a journey from Leeds Bradford Airport to Barcalona, the capital city of Catalonia in Spain. We had our very own boarding passes and learned all about the journey and the things we would see, including important information of the cities and countries we flew over.
Leeds Art Gallery visit - 14.1.25
Today, Y3SA visited the Leeds Art Gallery. We spent time learning about the Curtis Holder exhibit and linked this to our current Sonia Boyce topic this half term. We even had the opportunity to recreate some of his art work.

Today, year 3 continued with their learning all about Sonia Boyce. We focused specifcally on the way she uses repeated patterns and colour to create effective backgrounds. We used oil pastels for this.
