Personal, Social and Emotional Development learning focus: Feelings and Friendships
Reading: orally blending CVC words, hearing and saying the initial sounds in words.
Writing: hearing the initial sounds in words and using our knowledge of phonics to record them.
Maths: matching and soring objects.
Other Learning: getting to know our new class and talking about the things that make us unique.

Owlcotes Elements - Healthy body and Healthy Mind
Owlcotes Elements - Healthy body and Healthy Mind
Reception have taken part in their very first Owlcotes Element of their time at Primrose Hill. The children walked to our school orchard where they spotted apples and pears growing on our trees. The children talked about how tall the trees were and the different colours of the fruit growing. They picked a few pieces of fruit and spent time back in class drawing and painting the fruit they had picked.
