Spirit Cheerleaders at PCA are the traditional sideline cheerleaders. These girls work diligently each week preparing routines for games, performing and promoting school spirit! Many of these girls participate in both Spirit and Comp cheer programs at PCA.
The goal of Spirit Cheer is to grow spiritually while promoting school spirit and unity. We recognize that cheerleaders are role models and representatives of PCA, as such we believe their character should be above reproach. Every cheerleader should have exemplary morals, a positive attitude, high esteem for school faculty and staff, leadership ability, loyalty to other students and, most importantly, she must be a worthy representative of Jesus Christ.
The Competitive Cheerleading program at PCA has a longstanding tradition of excellence with 12 National Championship titles. Its members range from 7th grade - 12th grade and is considered a Varsity athletic program. This team practices weekly, balancing the practices of the spirit cheerleading program and allows those who want to participate in both programs the ability to do so.
The PCA Comp Cheer squad is a team of spiritually growing young women who endeavor to promote school spirit and unity. The character that these young women display must be above reproach because they are role models and representatives of PCA. Every cheerleader must have exemplary morals, a positive attitude, high esteem for
school faculty and staff, leadership ability, and loyalty to other students. Most importantly, she must be a worthy representative of Jesus Christ.
