Classes are asynchronous (not live) and will be a work-at-your-own-pace style.
Live meetings will be available but not mandatory during the week for K-8 students to take part in community building activities, and to receive additional support from their teacher(s).
Teachers will be available for virtual and in person office hours.
All core classes are taught by a PUSD certified teacher
In person and virtual electives are available for K-12.
PUSD Everywhere uses a general education curriculum, students on IEPs will need to work with their IEP team to determine if this is an appropriate placement and if services can be provided virtually to the student.
Honors/AP classes are available for 9th - 12th only.
5-8 students in honors math classes can work on advanced math classes, honors language arts classes are unavailable.
Most AP courses are NOT available virtually. Students interested in AP may be asked to attend in person for those classes only.

K-6 students: about 4-6 hours of parental support needed per day

Students who enroll in PUSD Everywhere must remain in the program for the semester. Students have an option to exit the program at winter break.
Students are encouraged to enter at the beginning of the semester, however students may enter in the middle of the semester with principal approval.
Students are required to complete all necessary assignments each day in order to be counted as present.
If a student is unable to complete their assignments during the weekday, they can complete assignments on weekends or evenings to make up for any absent days.
Students' success will be reviewed at the end of the semester to determine best placement for the following semester. Poor academic standing may lead to:
Removal from PUSD Everywhere program
Delayed graduation, retention, or credit recovery
Students must have a full course load for their grade level in the online format.
K-4th: minimum of 4 courses (optional electives)
5th - 8th: minimum of 5 courses (4 core classes, 1 required elective)
9th - 10th: minimum of 6 courses
11th: minimum of 5 courses
12th: minimum of 4 courses (+ any remaining credits needed for graduation)
ALL testing (benchmark, state, finals, etc.) must be conducted in person. Failure to complete required testing will result in removal from the PUSD Everywhere program.
Parents/Guardians interested in PUSD Everywhere’s full online learning program will need to complete an application for each child that would like to participate in distance learning. The applications can be submitted online or dropped off at the front office of the student’s home school.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance or rejection into the program by July 22, 2022. Applicants who submit after the start of the 2022-23 school year will be notified within a week of application being received.
If a student is rejected from the online program, parents may appeal with the Director of Online Learning. Students may be accepted on a probationary status, with regular data reviews, to ensure that they can be successful in this online format.
