Current Grant/Projects

In the fall of 2025, we were awarded a catalyst grant through the Wisconsin Conference United Church of Christ.  We will be using this three-year grant to 1) celebrate our partnership with the Lac Du Flambeau tribe by hosting a "Confluence of Communities" on August 8, 2026 at Freedom Park, 2) develop a partnership with the Prairie Island Dakota Tribe and establish programming efforts with them, and 3) create a Fishing Tales event series, which will highlight a diverse group of authors and their community's connection to fishing.   The 2026 Confluence of Communities was so well received that we will be hosting a similar event the summer of 2027.
