Youth Basketball - Skills Training

Open to Youth Grades 3-8

Here’s a unique opportunity for youth to get some individual and small-group basketball training with instructors Jordan Malmlov and Dallas Wallin. Players will work on dribble moves, shooting drills, scrimmaging, and other skills. This will be structured in such a way that players can work on their individual skills, rather than specifically on team skills. As sessions progress, players/parents will communicate directly with Malmlov & Wallin on what they’d like to personally improve on. Sessions are broken down by age group.

Training will be available May 13-23 and again June 3-14. The cost is $35 per hour-long session. Register for one or multiple dates - whatever fits your schedule/budget. When signing up, two steps need to be completed.

Trainers: Jordan Malmlov - Jordan is currently a member of the University of Nevada basketball team and the all-time leading scorer in Prescott Boys Basketball history. Dallas Wallin - Dallas was named Player of the Year this year by the Middle Border Conference and is a fan favorite on the court. Both are excited about helping younger students work on their personal basketball skills to reach their potential.

Cardinal Golf Academy

The mission of Cardinal Golf Academy is to teach young girls the fundamentals of golf while preparing them to potentially play in high school and beyond! The five-week program will include:

* 10 hours of direct and group instruction

* Teaching fundamentals of the full swing and short game

* Golf etiquette

* On-course experience at Clifton Highlands scenic par 3 course

This program is intended for Prescott Girls entering grades 6 - 9 for the 2024 school year

Programs will be capped at 12 Students to maintain a suitable instructor/student ratio

School Closings

The safety of our students is very important in every decision we make including making weather-related closings. As these decisions are made we will make every effort to notify families and staff as soon as we are able to confirm the conditions are truly materializing and not just speculation. Please review all the things that are considered with winter weather closings.

Infinite Campus

Parents can update their address, phone numbers, email and other personal information in the Infinite Campus parent portal. Please take a moment to make sure that information is up-to-date.

Attendance Reporting

If your student is going to be absent from school a parent/guardian needs to do one or the following:

Call the attendance line at 715-262-5054 by 9:00 am with an absence reason (if the student is ill, please be as specific and detailed as you can with symptoms).

Use the reporting option on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal this year which can be found under “More” and “Absent Requests”.

Late Arrivals

Children are expected to be on time each day. Our system will start counting and accumulating minutes missed after 7:50 a.m. Please ensure your child is on time for school each day. Any late arrivals/early pickups will occur at the main door (door #1).
