Hello 8th Grade!
Our final school week of 2024 is upon us! This is a full week (meaning we're in school Monday-Friday) but it's also full because of all of the things we have to do! I am hoping we will get in some more information about all of the land the US acquired in the late 1800s-early 1900s in Social Studies. Our Reading and Religion times will primarily focus on the Christmas Pageant (REMEMBER: 6:30 PM on WEDNESDAY!) and various Christmas activities! We will also have our Christmas Classics Day on Thursday and "Swish, Swish" on Friday. Friday is also the day we will watch, "The Outsiders"! I know you all are so excited about viewing this classic film!
I hope our LONG Christmas Break provides you all with rest, relaxation, and plenty of quality time spent with your families. Remember to take a few moments to simply say, "thank you," for this beautiful life you have been given, the friends and family that are in your lives, and the futures that are shining so brightly ahead of you. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I will see you in 2025!
Peace and Love,
Mrs. Lang
