Hello Class of 2026!

Wow! Can you believe the time has finally arrived for you to be the leaders of the school?! These years have just flown by and I am looking forward to starting an amazing school year with all of you! Not only are you graduating this year, but you will also get to celebrate Pres's 100th Birthday! So this year is going to be extra special! Please check out my site--especially our "Weekly Reminders" (to the right) and our "8th Grade" tab for the most up-to-date and important information! Here we go y'all--this is your year, so let's make it count!

Weekly Reminders:

• I sent a detailed email about the first few weeks of 8th Grade on SATURDAY, 8/23! Please read this email and reach out if you have any questions!

• Our first day of school is WEDNESDAY, 9/3! It is a FULL DAY of school!

• Please come to school prepared with your supplies! If anyone is having trouble finding supplies, affording them, etc., please let me know so that I can help ensure that everyone is fully equipped for a year full of learning! Please click HERE to access the Stationery List (which can also be found under the "8th Grade" tab!)

• Back to School Night is Thursday, 9/11 at 7:00 PM!

• Summer Reading Projects are due by Tuesday, 9/16! Please find your Summer Reading options and assignments HERE! 

• 8th Grade High School Placement Test is Monday, 9/22--more details will be emailed!

• Show off your Pres Pride by buying some new gear! If you are interested in purchasing any Pres Gear, click HERE! The store is open year-round!

• 8th Graders must do 3 Hours of Service by MAY! Any 8th Grader who does not meet this requirement will not be permitted to graduate! 

• All students must have an independent reading book! They can bring one from home or borrow one from me. These books must be chapter books!
