A Message from Mrs. Lang!

Hello 8th Grade!

    After last week's short and busy week, we get to do it again this week.  We will be having our first graduation practice, Field Day and our Tookany Trip to the park.  

    Our last Vocab Workshop test is this Wednesday and we will be finishing up our final chapter in Social Studies - the 1950s and 1960s.  End of year assessments also begin on Friday with our Reading assessment.  Assessment schedules and study guides were sent home last week. You can check out the assessment schedule below.  Study guides should be brought to school daily as we prepare for our assessments.

Weekly Reminders:

• Field Day is on THURSDAY, 5/28! Be sure to come to school all decked out in your BLUE and GOLD! It will be a full day of school.

• Tookany Trip permission forms due Thursday, May 28th. 

• Our SUMMER UNIFORM began on MONDAY, 4/13! Please read our Uniform Policy HERE

• Please come to school prepared with your supplies! If anyone is having trouble finding supplies, affording them, etc., please let me know so that I can help ensure that everyone is fully equipped for a year full of learning! • Show off your Pres Pride by buying some new gear! If you are interested in purchasing any Pres Gear, click HERE! The store is open year-round!

• 8th Graders must do 3 Hours of Service by MAY! Any 8th Grader who does not meet this requirement will not be permitted to graduate! 

• All students must have an independent reading book! They can bring one from home or borrow one from me. These books must be chapter books!
