Here you have a brief explanation of the integrative activity 1: My curriculum vitae.
First of all, check the following platform resources in order to know and practice the grammar notions and vocabulary that will help you answer the activity:
-Vocabulary S1
- I am… You are…
- A singular thing
- Describing myself and others
- Qualifying Adjectives
- Possessive adjectives
- Practice exercise. “Classmates”
- Practice Exercise. Descriptions
- Actividad formativa 2. Introducing my friend
In this activity you will have to download the file called Application form; in it, you will answer the requested personal data, such as your name, age, address, etc. If you don't want to share some real data, such as your address and phone number, don't worry, you can make it up. Remember that the important thing is to practice.
Example of the first part:
Last name: Sánchez * First name: Alma Middle name: Rosa **
* in this aspect only your first surname is requested.
** If you do not have a middle name, leave this blank empty.
In the last part you will write about your personality qualities and your physical appearance. As well as, give a brief description of the characteristics of your home.
Example qualities and physical appearance:
I am smart, funny and sociable. (personality qualities)
I’m tall and thin. (physical appearance)
I have blue eyes and straight hair. (physical appearance)
Example description of my house:
My house is blue with white. (Use colors to describe your house)
It has a great garden with beautiful flowers and a big tree. (Something special your house has outside)
***Do not describe all your house, only what a person can see from outside***
An important aspect regarding the descriptions that are requested is that you have to pay attention to the use of adjectives because they are written before the noun:
WRONG: eyes blue
CORRECT: blue eyes
After you have finished your activity, read aloud what you wrote and record it. Don't forget to share the audio link in the Word document.
It is important that you use the vocabulary from the unit to enrich your activities. In addition, consider that you are sharing data in English, so it will be incorrect for you to write in Spanish, instead of writing English. It is also important to clarify that there are some data that are not translated, such as proper names: names of people, countries, cities, streets, etc.
Watch the virtual sessions (Open spaces for learning), so that you can ask any questions you have regarding this activity. The programming of it can be seen in the News forum.
You always have two choices: your commitment versus your fear - Sammy Davis, Jr.

MY CURRICULUM VITAE
Errores comunes:
THIS IS MY GREAT FAMILY
Errores comunes:
- Escribir en las descripciones I have en lugar de I am cuando para expresar la edad. Lo correcto es decir: I am 20 years old / She is 20 years old.
- En tercera persona escribir She/he have en lugar de She/he has.
