Walk for Life: Frequently Asked Questions 

1. What time should I arrive at the Walk for Life?

The Walk begins at 10:00 AM, but check-in begins at 9:15 AM.   Registration will be in front of The Landing @ Impact Church.

2. What if I registered for the Walk for Life and I cannot make it the day of the event?

 You can still participate by being a Virtual Walker. You can fundraise and then pick a day to walk on your own.  We will miss you, but we very much appreciate your support of the Ministry!

3. How far is the Walk?

Our Walk for Life will be 2 mile's around The Landing @ Impact Church property.  It's the most important 2 miles you will ever walk!

4. Can I bring my dog or anyone I want to participate with me?

Yes!  Dogs are welcome to coming along but MUST be leashed properly. 

5. What do I do with my cash or check donations?

If you are logged into your FundEasy Personal Fundraising Webpage you can enter “Offline” Cash and Check Donations for each donation you have received by clicking the yellow button on the right hand side of your page. Once you enter in the donations, they will be added to your fundraising total. Make sure that you enter in the correct mailing/email address for the person who gave you the donation so we can send them a receipt at the end of the year. (Save all your cash & check donations and bring them with you to the Walk event.)

6. How do I turn in my cash and check donations?

Please hold on to all of your cash and check donations and bring them with you to the Walk event.  You will turn everything in that morning when you check-in at the event.  If you are a virtual walker, please mail everything to the Coraopolis Office at 1009 Beaver Grade Rd., Suite 200, Moon Twp., PA. 

7. Will my donors get a receipt?

Everyone who makes a donation to Choices Pregnancy Services AND provides complete, accurate mailing information, will receive a receipt mailed to them after the Walk for Life.  Please DO NOT enter your email address or your mailing address for the donor’s information.

8. What if I did not turn all of my money in at the Walk?

Any sponsor, whose money is not turned in at the time of the Walk, will be sent a pledge statement.

10. What if it Rains?

We walk Rain or Shine!  The Walk director has the right and responsibility to cancel the day’s event in case of extreme weather. Check our Facebook page or website for updates.
