How to obtain a FID Card in NJ?
You must apply for an FID card on the NJ Portal FARS website (https://www.njportal.com/njsp/FARS). From there, you will need to schedule to get your fingerprints done with Identigo. Once you completed that and have paid the fees to both NJSP and your local PD(if not under state police jurisdiction), then you must wait for the process to be complete. They will notify you through the email you gave on the application.

Some classes require you to have your own firearm. Please check course requirements or contact us to verify whether or not you need your own firearm.

Classes held at Recoil NJ must be either copper-washed or Full Metal Jacket(FMJ). Recoil NJ does not sell or rent firearms. If you need a firearm for the course, please contact us so we are aware that you need to use one of ours.

We do not offer refunds for a class once you signed up. Due to limited spots available in each class, once you sign up, it takes away another person's spot. If notified 24 hours prior to the start of class, you can reschedule for another date of the same class.
