  • Naming Compounds & common household chemicals

  • Chemical Reactions; Law of Conservation of Mass

  • Nuclear Chemistry & Uses in Energy production

2nd 9 weeks physics

The second 9 weeks of the Physical Science curriculum is the basics of Physics:

  • Newton's Laws

  • Motion, Acceleration, Velocity; Force; Work; Energy

  • Waves; Electromagnetic Spectrum; Sound & Light

  • Law of Conservation of Energy; Energy Sources

  • Thermal Energy; Temperature Flow; Heat ; Weather & the Earth

  • Electricity; Circuits; Magnets; Motors
