Marketing essentials introduces students to the world of product promotion and advertising. Students will analyze the four parts of the marketing mix: Product, Place, Price and Promotion. Students will research various examples and create their own.
Students will:
Explore various Marketing Careers
Analyze various products and choose a new product to present to the class
Learn about the various routes products go from creation to a retailer for consumer purchase.
Examine prices of various products currently for sale and break down the potential areas of cost.
Watch and study various product promotions and discuss their effect or lack thereof.
Do research about consumer wants and needs.
