Folk art is an expression of living culture and traditions of a community. This knowledge is passed on from one generation to the next. The study of folk arts helps us to understand the important relationship of tradition and innovation in societal change.
Every week, children will be introduced to one international folk art with a brief introduction of their art, culture and history of countries like Russia,Hungary, Ukraine, Africa etc. Each folk art has its own unique style and usage which is integral to their community value.
Children will learn the essence of that art form and afterwards use this newly acquired technique in creating and designing their everyday utility things. The practice of a folk art and participation in innovative methods of learning about them stimulate their imagination and build creativity.

Academically strong, we have gained extensive knowledge, training and experience in imparting quality education using the Montessori approach. Understanding that the child is an absorbent mind, we carefully select relevant concepts and topics and design workshops which unleashes the inner potential of the child.
