I am Christine Henke Mueller, (MA Teaching, Cardinal Stritch University, BA Religious Studies, Mount Mary University) and have been teaching since 1987. I began teaching as a Peace Corps volunteer (Kenya 1987-1989) and have been part of the Primary School here at The Prairie School since 2005. Both of my children, Elissa '08 and Ian '14 are graduates of The Prairie School.

Everyone learns in their own unique way. The success of learning is dependent on my personal ownership for making meaningful positive learning experiences for my students. Together, we will build a community of learners who work together to explore, create, and connect to the world around us.

My name is David Reske. I graduated from Marquette University this past spring after completing my student teaching experience at Prairie. I will also be coaching the Racine Lutheran/ Prairie high school baseball team in the spring. I attended TPS from 6th grade through high school, and look forward to giving my students the great Prairie experience I was able to receive.

I believe the classroom is a community and that everyone plays an important role; from the Head of School to the students and parents, we all must contribute to maintain an atmosphere of growth and positivity. I will treat each student with compassion and respect by being fully present and available to them while creating a learning space that encourages curiosity, creativity, questions, problem solving and hard work.
