Every year, Willowbrook Middle School, located in South Beloit, throws an event by the name of “Java Jam” to help raise funds for the Willowbrook Music Department. At the event, we raise money through cost of admission, silent auctions, and a raffle to win donated gift baskets from other district families and many local businesses. The proceeds go towards the purchase of big ticket items such as new instruments, new music, and various supplies for the band and choir programs.

This year's Java Jam was held on Saturday, February 8th from 1:00-4:00 in the WMS AP Room. We received almost 40 donated baskets total, and over 500 baked goods from various WMS families. Thank you to all who came to support the students and the Willowbrook Music Department. We raised over $3,000 dollars this year, and that money will go directly back into the program.
