It further warrants that it does not fall within the reporting criteria for minor victims of physical or sexual abuse as set out in the Applicable Law (in the South African context that is the Children’s Act 38 of 2005, its Regulations and any other related laws).
The #safesigns toolkit does not represent or warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it is free of viruses or other harmful components.
The #safesigns toolkit does not make any warranties or representations regarding the use of its content, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness, reliability or otherwise. The content may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors and Reach Digital Health assumes no responsibility for; and disclaims any and all such inaccuracies, errors or omissions in the content, its publications and/or related documents.
The #safesigns toolkit is provided to you free of charge.
Limitation of Liability: - in no event shall Reach Digital Health have any liability to you for any punitive damages, lost profits, diminution of value, consequential damages, special damages, incidental damages, indirect damages or other similar unforeseen damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability relating to, arising out of, or in any way in with these Terms and Conditions, us, or our business services will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months to the #safesigns toolkit. The foregoing disclaimer of certain damages and limitation of liability will apply to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law.
Terms and Conditions
The #safesigns toolkit cannot be used without first accepting the Terms and Conditions of use.
In summary, the T&Cs stipulate the following:
The #safesigns toolkit may not be used in any way for profitable gain.
All reasonable safeguarding measures will be put in place to protect user safety.
Results or findings from any implementation of the #safesigns toolkit may not be published or shared publicly without prior consent and acknowledgment of Reach Digital Health and the Behavioral Insights Team (BIT Inc).
The format of the #safesigns toolkit may not ever be changed for any other media/platform other than a digital chatbot (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Viber, Telegram etc.).
The #safesigns toolkit may not be used on chatbots/programs that are not aligned with the intended intervention design outcomes aligned to the IPV challenges faced by women and girls.
