My name is Carmen Lopez and I have been a resident of Perquimans County for the past 16 years. I worked as a substitute teacher in this wonderful district for 7 years before finally joining the HGS family as an Exceptional Childrens Resource teacher in 2021. I graduated from ECSU December 2020 with my Bachelor's in Education. I am eager and excited to help our students become the best they can while helping bridge the gaps to help them reach their full potential!
